Form ADV is a uniform document used by Investment Advisory firms to register with both the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and state securities authorities. The Form consists of two main components:
- Part 1 is used by the SEC primarily to manage its regulatory and examination programs, and available to the public on the SEC’s Investment Adviser Public Disclosure (IAPD) website: www.adviserinfo.sec.gov.
- Part 2 is the primary disclosure document called the Brochure that investment advisors are required to provide to their clients, and includes information about the advisory services offered; fees; key advisory personnel; and business practices of Midwest Investment Management LLC.
